These need actual “force” to push together; they are not the “click” together kind. These can be installed with a rubber Mallet.

Installation: Place the male part on a wooden board. The male part is slightly smaller in width and will nestle within the female part. Place the female part on top of the male part and insert your setter. Give the setter a couple of hard taps with a hammer or until the male part is fully inserted and flush with the female part cap. To protect your grommets from being scratched, it is advisable to place a small piece of fleece between the grommet parts and the board and mallet

Dimensions:
Inner Grommet Dimensions: 25mm x 6mm (1″ x ¼”)
Outer Dimensions: 39mm x 20mm (1½” x ¾”)
Height: 5mm
Grommets will accommodate a bag thickness of 4mm (3/32″).

The names of the metal finishes we use are Electro Black (matt black), Nickel (silver), Antique brass (rolled brass, uneven), Gun metal, Old Gold, Rose Gold (or copper), Irridescent Rainbow and Light Gold. These names do not say anything about the actual composition of the product.
If you buy an old Gold lock, it’s not real gold, unfortunately for you ;). Nor are the nickel items made out of nickel.

What is the difference between Antique Brass and Old gold?

They both do have similar colours, however, gold is shinier and carries a more yellow tone. Antique Brass has a slightly duller tone and isn’t quite vibrant.

All the items in our webshop are chosen with ‘bagmaking’ in mind. Of course, they can also often be used for other purposes (our customers are often very creative in their applications), but k-bas is not responsible for the durability when used outdoors.
