Bouncyfirm is a firm, yet flexible fusible dense interfacing. It doesn’t crease and holds wrinkles like other products tend to do. You can scrunch your bag up into a ball and when you let it go, it bounces right back into shape. It’s a great substitute for fleece and adds wonderful structure without the pudginess of foam.
Bouncyfirm 210 leans a little bit towards Peltex.

What does Bouncyfirm replace?

Bouncyfirm 210 is an ideal replacement for fusible Peltex where you need the rigidity but not the stiffness. It is slightly stiffer than Bouncyfirm 160.

How to apply Bouncyfirm?

  • Ideally, you use a press without steam.
    fixation: 95 – 120 ° C (200-250° F), 0.3 – 0.5 bar, 10 – 15 seconds
  • When using an iron, always iron without steaming
  • Iron from the interfacing side up to prevent damage to the visible fabric. Otherwise, iron over baking paper.
